Where's Your Focus?
Today we face challenges that no other generation has faced. With the technological revolution in full throttle and competing mediums at every turn, the ability to focus on our God-given purposes have never been more strained. With so many distractions bombarding us on a continuous basis it is very easy to become disoriented to the point that we never arrive at our intended destination. It is imperative that we live intentionally, and have clearly defined goals.
The first step in keeping focus is to have one. If you don't know where you are going how will you ever know that you have arrived? The truth is, each one of us has been placed upon this earth for purpose. I repeat! Each one of us has been placed upon this earth for purpose! Not pleasure, not to be entertained, not to feel a certain way. No we were placed here to fulfill a mandate that has been given to us through the knowledge of our Creator. I often express to those whom I am ministering to, that the only way to know what you are here for is TO KNOW THE ONE WHO put you here. Our plans and our pursuits are utterly futile unless they are the plans that align with the purpose of our origin. And our purpose can only be found through a relationship with our Originator.

Psalm 33:10-11
10Â The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. 11Â The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.
That means that if you don't have the plan of the Lord then there is a good chance that your plans are futile. Your purpose is interwoven into your being through your Creator. As we grow in our intimacy with our Creator He begins to unveil the reason for your existence. Once you know, then you can pursue that purpose. That purpose then becomes a destination that can be arrived at and plans can be made to get there.
I want to encourage everyone that reads this post to pursue your purpose intentionally and allow your relationship with the Lord dictate your plans. Don't allow the distractions of this world to interfere with the purpose of your existence!
